Live streaming with a GoPro can be an exciting activity. Occasionally, you might want to share your experiences or sights with friends in real-time. Live streaming allows you to capture and broadcast simultaneously. Imagine you're at a game recording with your GoPro; why not share the excitement live with your friends?

This functionality is available from the HERO Black 7 model onwards. The setup process is quite straightforward, though it does require Wi-Fi. If you're somewhere without Wi-Fi, your phone's personal hotspot can serve as a substitute. Despite the simplicity of the setup, some details can be tricky.

Here's how to start a live stream with GoPro:

1. Open the QUIK app on your phone.

2. Connect to your GoPro.

3. Select 'Live Stream'.

4. Choose your streaming platform from options like GoPro.com, Facebook, YouTube, Twitch, and RTMP.

5. Connect to a network.

Select your network or use your phone's hotspot for Wi-Fi. Adjust the resolution and lens to wide or portrait. You also have the option to save a copy. That's all there is to it. The app will offer a few tips. You go live the moment you tap 'Go Live'. From my experience, I've adopted certain practices to quickly obtain videos and pictures.

I prefer taking short videos that can be merged during editing, which allows for quicker downloads to my phone, as opposed to lengthy videos that take more time and risk losing connection. I often do this in the car on the way back from the event, rather than waiting until I get home, saving a significant amount of time.

The battery life of GoPro batteries is affected by temperature, performing better in winter than in summer, though the reason is unclear. The voice command feature on the GoPro can be inconsistent. I own both the HERO9 Black and HERO11 Black, and their voice command functions similarly.

How to Restore a Windows Computer

 Restore is a process that Microsoft has created in order for the computer to go back to a time when everything was working like it is meant to work. Your computer behaves differently today than earlier. It was working fine until you downloaded a file, pictures or you installed a program from the internet. You could get it back to when it was working correctly by doing a Restore. Follow these simple steps.

Press the windows logo on your keyboard and type Create a restore point. Alternately in the search bar type in Create a restore point

On this screen “Confirm your restore point” "Finish" 

Once you hit Finish you computer will go to work and stop once it has repaired the files to an earlier time when you computer worked well. 

You can do this as many times as you want. If at a certain it does not gets back to normal then you need to seek other methods, which we will go over.

dji Spark Drone

Dji  Spark is an amazing drone. I am very passionate about drones. Drones are very sophisticated today. They help in a lot of areas in every aspect of our lives. Where sending a human to a place where it is dangerous or risky Drones are sent.  If you watch an NFL game to get the highlights drones are flown. Remote parts of some countries where proper roads are questionable and people need medicine or food they use drones. Rescue missions are incorporated with drones. We may not see this very often but they play a crucial role in our lives. 

The Spark just like any of the Dji series of drones are very smart and sophisticated. I can run or walk they can intelligently follow me. It stops when I stop like I told it to do so. It can take off and land on my palm. It can follow hand gestures where I needed to shoot a video or take a photo. I can wave and it knows to land. It will know me just by looking on to my eyes.

Before  it’s battery dies it know to get back home. It calculates the distance and time to get there. It returns so that it does not gets stranded. In order for not to hit objects it will fly very high above.I have so much fun with this drone it is  awesome. 

Drones are something people take on their vacations too to  take exotic places and ariel shots and videos. Remember drones occupy   aerospace during flights just like a plane and there are rules and regulations by the aviation authorities. If your drone is equipped with gps then the drone would have a database with no fly zones and it will warn you if you do. At the airport you may have trouble taking a drone because of this. So do your research on regulations to the country where you chose to take. There are stories of airport authorities confiscating drones. So be careful.   

Dji Spark is one hell of a drone. This drone has all dji’s signature drone technologies. Flying them is such a big thrill that you will get hooked. Today thrill seekers and Travellers take drones everywhere. They can take 4K videos and photos that are never possible with a selfie stick.

Apps That Can Make You Money

There are millions of Apps for iPhones and Android phones. They all have different functionality. Whether it is for navigation, watch videos and go to Social Sites. Today we depend on them for various things and convenience they provide are immeasurable. It is a good thing. But did you know that you can also make money out  them. 

If you pay attention you can make a lot of it too. I use a lot of them. Not only they have made my life easier and they are making me money. You use these Apps and follow couple of extra steps and yes that makes you money. 

Here are some of the apps that I use that makes me money on a regular basis. These are referral based. It takes very little effort on your part to achieve that.

Rewards is by google.  Google Opinion Rewards. All you have to do is answer a couple questions regarding a purchase or a location you visited.  The question are very basic and not intimidating. The minute you submit that you see it gives you money. 

This pays immediately and once it reaches $2 you can get it to your bank account. Through pay pal. 

Achievement. With this App, it keeps count of the steps you make on a day and converts that to points. It accumulates step count from your health app and other activity apps too. You also have surveys that you can chose to do that  will give you points. Once the points adds up to $10  you get paid by PayPal. Remember to accumulate points you have nothing to do. If you get greedy then you may do surveys too.

Fetch gives you points for scanning you daily receipts and each of these receipts gets certain number of points. Once you have $3 with points you can convert to gift cards like Amazon, Walmart, Target etc. Occasionally they give you boost in points and it is fast.

Google Pay App that you can send and receive money with ease and every  time you introduce someone you get money anywhere up to $21 based on the promotion they are running at the time. The minimum is $4. Every time a new person comes in your circle you get money. 

Robinhood App is for buying stocks in the stock market. But you don't need to buy anything in order for you to get a free stock each time. You can turn around and sell the stock to get the money. You introduce someone with your like they get a stock and you get one too. I spoke about Robinhood  as an app to trade in the stock market. Acorn App gives you $5 each time you introduce someone. That money can be invested or taken away immediately. 

Microsoft gives you rewards every time you search with Bing. Sign up with bing and let you computer search engine to Bing. Every time you search it give you points. You can play games to get points too here. Their rewards are good for gift cards For many places that you shop. I have had so many gifts cards with them, I can't count.

Sweatcoin was developed for people to be healthy. All you have to do is walk. That gives Sweatcoin dollars that could be used to buy stuff. You refer someone you get 5 Sweatcoin dollars.

10 Things to do for Slow Computers

Windows  Computers get slow due to various reasons over a period of time. When you bought the computer it worked well and now it is getting slow or won’t open certain programs or you have to wait for a long time to boot up the computer. 

This happens because of a couple things and it can get to where you cannot use your computer. Just like a car you can do regular maintenance to working like new.  

If you search on Google you will get a lot of answers. You can fix it if you understand what they are saying. It will be tempting to download things that are prominent on the page and get into a deeper situation. You have to remember they are all based on what they are trying to sell. It could be an Anti Virus or something else. Getting a true answer to your problem is difficult. Sometimes the terms they use sounds like Yes! that's what I want. At this time you will want to try anything. Because you are frustrated.  Lot of those solutions are the reason why your computer got slow. 

If you have a Mac this won’t be a problem. But even a Mac will slow down if you use up all the disk space. There deleting things that you don't really can help. Not always. Adding memory can also help. 

Windows computers are different as there could be a memory or a virus problem. Here you may need out side help along with some basic things that can be done on a regular  basis.

Here is what you need to do when your  windows computer slows down. Correcting the situation is also a slow process. You will have to have patients  and pay attention to what you are doing in order to get into this situation again. 

1. If your computer slowed down after you installed a program then uninstall that program. Alternately you can restore your computer to a previous day when the computer was working well. 

Your computer keeps history of the days the computer worked well. You can go back to that day by pressing the windows logo and type System Restore

2. If you have opened many programs  at the same time, close the programs that you are not using at the time.

3. Windows computers comes with a Virus program called Windows defender. Scan your computer with it. 

4. If you have Windows 10  then press the windows logo on your keyboard and just start typing. Disk Cleanup  and run it  it will identify all the files called cookies left with the internet browser. Once scanned it will prompt, if you want to delete all. Say yes.

5 You can do the same as No. 4 and type in Defragment and Optimize drives and run it. 

6. When you are on the internet other things can sneak in called malware. These can stay in your computer. You cannot get rid of them easily. On Microsoft website you can download Windows Safety Scanner. Use the link and read the Microsoft documentation on this. Download and install and scan your computer. Make sure you go to Microsoft website. If search there will many sites that offer this. this is how they get you. Windows safety scanner won’t stay in you computer once you have scanned.  This normally should take care of your problem. 

7. If none of those things won't work then we have more work to do. There is a a good program called Malwarebytes. Download and scan your computer. Remember download the trial version if you don't want to pay. 

8. If your computer is has Windows 7 or earlier there is no support from Microsoft. Later versions can be converted to Windows 10 for free with Windows update. So that you continuously have Windows support.

9. If you cannot go online then press Windows logo like you did in No. 4 and type Internet Options go to Advanced tab and got to Restore Advanced Settings. Also press Reset and follow prompts

10. If all fails to get your computer normal then it could be Hardware Issues. Which will be a bit more complicated. Further links will get you there. 

Today the computers comes with fast processors,  the brain of the computer. A decent amount of RAM which is what stores the items temporarily while you are working on a program. Also a high capacity hard drive where everything is stored like your photos etc. In order to understand what is going on you have to know a little under the hood.

Investing

When it comes to investing lot of us  are  clueless. We always think that we have to go through brokerage firms and pay a lot money to Invest. Those are the good old days. Today You can be savvy investor  just with your cellphone.  I am going to go over some basic ways where you can make good money investing. 

Talk to you friends and family you always get confused. You go to work everyday and make sure you do everything by the book. You get a regular paycheck. This is one of the best ways. I do that too. Your history should tell you that you are a devoted employee. All your dedication does you good to pay bills. You are already ahead of the game. Which is very good. That is exactly what you should be doing. 

If you stop to evaluate that, what would you say? I am good or Yes! I can live a little. You can pay bills or live a little. Working pays everyday pays bills. Investing is what secures you from falling behind or securing your future. It also makes everything else possible. 

There are many Apps that you can download that you can use to invest. One such app is Robinhood. Why Robinhood because they have no commission when you buy or when you sell. They are the pioneers of no commission trades. Today there are many companies that are offering no commission trades. So why am I inviting,  you ask? This link will give you a free stock for you and me. Every time you introduce a friend the same happens to you. 

Take the free stock and sell it and viola! you are Investing. You do this on a regular basis you are Day Trading. This is something you can learn on the internet. 

What is trading?

Trading is like buying and selling, just like you would sell merchandise. Say you buy a pen for a dollar and sell it for two dollars. You have made a dollar out of that trade. In the stock market this is what you do.  Except in the Stock Market you are Buying company shares like if you work for a public company. So lets do the math part of buying and selling. 

Companies that are public have stocks. They have socks with abbreviations. For example DLTR for Dollar Tree GM General Motors Company and so on. When you download the app you will see a list of companies. You can add companies of your own to a list called Watchlist. 

This is a watchlist from an iPhone. The stock comes with different prices Google  GOOG would be $1895 to buy one stock. But there are stocks for 20 cents. Say you buy 100 stocks will be $20. Later today or  tomorrow it became 30 cents. Now your 20 has become 30 dollars. You made 10 dollars.

Robinhood has no commission. You now have 30 dollars. Think of a stock that you bought for $2.39 that became $70 dollars. This is a true example that happen to me. I had bought 190 stocks. You do the math. 

What are people talking about loosing in the stock market. You don't have to lose anything. If you invested $20 dollars and the stock went down in price don't sell it. Keep it until it goes up. Socks go up and down in price all the time. It is because more people are buying and or selling. It is a normal process.

GoPro 9 Voice commands

 

It is nice that you can talk to your GoPro with voice commands to achieve functions. however there are not many commands and you have to begin with "GoPro" each time and then what you want it to do. I found that sometimes these commands needs to be repeated. When it does not respond you get confused as to whether it accepted or you said it the wrong way.

The voice command applies to the following GoPros.

• Hero 8 Black
• Hero7(White, Silver and Black
• Hero6 Black
• Fusion
• Hero5 Black and Session
• Hero 2018
• Remo 

Here are the commands and these are in all major languages. I thought that was smart. There  are sixteen commands at the time of writing.

Also the battery latch is very tight that it requires remembering how. You would push down the part that comes outside and out. Once you do it a couple of time you will get it. Also the battery door can be completely take out. In case during your battle to take it off and  you broke it. It can be replaced.
